Organization:
The CenTex Cruisers originated as the Central Texas Bucketheads and was informally organized in October 2008 at a meeting of the founding members held at the Pecan Street Station Deli in Pflugerville, Texas. The founding members are a group of fun loving T-bucket owners who determined that the CTC should primarily be a social club comprised of owners of vintage and custom hot rods who prefer big engines, huge rear tires and lots of fancy paint, billet and chrome. Socializing and having fun cruising Central Texas in our hot rods is what makes us CenTex Cruisers.
Purpose:
The purpose of the CTC is to provide a forum and event notification for hot rod owners to get together and share in their love for America's oldest and earliest hot rods, through participation in car shows, cruises, show-n-shines and other social events.
Officers:
Although, as yet not officially organized, we have elected a president, secretary and treasurer to act as our leaders and whose duties are to help out with the clubs' administrative needs and to keep us coordinated and informed. As of now, there are no dues and everything is either freely given or donated.
Meetings:
NOTE: Our monthly club meeting is the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at Arby's located at 13609 N. IH 35 #5. We also have a cruise-in on Saturday evenings to the parking lot adjacent to Arby's.
